Official opening of the Foundry Place Car Park

April 21, 2016

It was smiles all round earlier this month, when MP Sir Henry Bellingham officially opened the Foundry Place Car Park in Burnham Market. Built as a gift to the village by Fleur Hill – and much appreciated by residents – the car park benefits the whole community by alleviating traffic congestion.

Sir Henry Bellingham was clearly impressed by the car park when he commented, “It is probably the most attractive and well built car park in the country.”

Norfolk Country Councillor Richard Bird, who was also in attendance, added, ‘This means so much to the people here. It has been in the offing for more than 30 years…Fleur Hill is just fantastic.’
